I got mesotherapy done a few months ago. Fat dissolving injections, nothing dramatic, just one of those things you do and move on. Except my body decided not to move on. My digestion went completely irregular and I had no idea what was normal anymore.
So I did what anyone would do. I tried to track it.
Every app I found felt like it was designed for a clinical trial. Cold interfaces, medical jargon everywhere, and half of them locked basic features behind a paywall. I just wanted to know if I'd had a normal week. I didn't want to feel like I was filing a report to the NHS every time I opened my phone.
So I built one.
HYPT, short for "Have You Poo Today", is a free web app that tracks your Bristol stool scale, lets you export the data to hand to your GP, and points you at the nearest one when your week looks off. That's it. No subscriptions, no premium tier, no "upgrade to unlock your bowel history." It's free and it's staying free.
The design was important to me. I wanted something that felt fun and a bit retro, not sterile. Something you'd actually open daily without feeling like a patient. But underneath the aesthetic, the data is genuinely useful. If you have IBS, Crohn's, UC, or anything that makes your gut unpredictable, having a clean export to show your doctor is worth more than another symptom diary that looks like a spreadsheet.
Your entries are locked to your login, so no other HYPT user can read them. I'm not going to tell you they're encrypted from me though, because they aren't. I run the database, which means I can technically open it and look. I don't, and I don't want to, but I'd rather say that out loud than write "fully encrypted" on a page about your bowels and hope nobody checks. The consent screen tells you the same thing before you sign up.
This was a problem I had, I solved it, and now it's out there for anyone who needs it.
It's still in beta, so if something breaks, that's expected. If you log in with Google and see "supabase" on the screen, I'm sorry. I haven't put money into this yet. One person studio budget.
Try it at hypt.rinnr.dev and tell me what breaks.
